The Right's Spokesman

Not to second-guess the Republican strategy, but is Sen. John McCain really the best spokesman for the No On Stimulus campaign? Didn't the America people deliver him a whopping precisely because of all issues, they didn't trust his instincts on the economy?

The better question is: why the hell have a no on stimulus campaign? You're just setting yourself up to be called Hooverites, you have this mess created on a Republican adminstrations watch, and you have broad consensus in the economic community that a stimulus is needed and might actually need to be larger than advertised, combine it with public support.

It's stupid.

What's stupider: the Democrats for not getting in front of the cameras and fighting this thing out. The election may have been won; but the Republicans are keeping on keeping on while the democratic party rests on it's laurels. It's frustrating to watch.

In the spirit of perpetual learning..."whopping" is an adjective, not the verb yer looking for.
That verb is "wupping." "W(h)ooping" might be acceptable, but'll get mixed up with whooping coughs and cranes.
Perhaps you should just go with the noun "can of wup-ass."

In the spirit of my own perpetual learning...well, I guess "wupping" would be the *gerund* yer looking for.
