The Montgomery Advertiser reports that PETA is attempting to thwart what could potentially be a new world record for the largest group chicken-dance performance, at Talladega Superspeedway:
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has asked Guinness World Records to ignore an attempt to set a world record for the largest group chicken dance at Talladega, site of the Aaron's 499 race on Sunday.NASCAR plans to go ahead with the dance, which it's orchestrating as a promotion of KFC, an event sponsor that, PETA says, mistreats chickens.
