After a Diageo/Hotline poll last week showed 62 percent of Americans supporting "the president enacting a major overhaul of the U.S. health care system," Americans United for Change will begin airing a TV ad highlighting the finding.
The ad is targeted at opinion-makers, as it will air on cable in DC.
While Obama's health reform efforts may be vague to poll respondents, HCAN backs that up with a more specific finding, from a commissioned poll by Lake Research in January, finding 73 percent of Americans want a choice between private and public insurance plans, given the choice between all private, all public, or having both types of coverage available. (800 likely voters, +/- 3.5 percent margin of error.)

More and more employers are dropping health plans. There will be very few companies offering medical as part of their hiring...those days are long gone. It is disgusting how much a family pays each month just for healthcare, and more families are going without as the workplace discontinues the benefit. Emergency rooms are being abused or, sadly, individuals and families are simply going without care. We are like a third-world nation.
Obama is correct, the time is now for healthcare change.

I can't believe 62% of America backs Obama's socialized Healthcare Agenda. Those numbers have to be bogus.
