Unemployment By Race, Gender, Class

At his Atlantic Correspondents blog, Richard Florida breaks down Friday's unemployment numbers by race, gender, and class. Construction and extraction workers (19.7 percent), black men (16.8 percent), production workers (15.6 percent), and those without a high school diploma (15.5 percent) have it worst, Florida finds.

Considering that breakdown, perhaps someone from the Atlantic could ask the new, connected group "Reform Immigration For America" why they want to make things even worse for millions of low-wage and even middle class Americans. Note that an Obama admin official cheerleaded for "reform" at that group's meeting earlier today.

I don't expect anyone from the Atlantic to ask anyone in the Obama admin about that since their shock collars would deliver a mighty jolt. So, if any enterprising citizen journalists want to do the job that the Atlantic and the rest of the MSM refuses to do, go ask a Dem leader about that at one of their appearances. Then, upload video of their response to Youtube.
