"Political Correctness Killed Americans"

That's the title of Mike Huckabee's take on the Ft. Hood shootings, delivered on air Saturday and now posted in text on the Fox News website:

It appears that there was a prevailing spirit of political correctness that caused many from calling attention to his radical and anti-American statements. It's bad enough that political correctness has killed Christmas, comedy and common sense, but in this case, it appear that it killed 14 innocent people;13 soldiers and civilians and one unborn child...

Even worse: it is killing America!

Indeed - Christmas is truly dead - RIP 2006. Comedy also dead - 1969. Common sense died way back in 1982 - I remember well that sad day.

If you feel that Christmas has been killed solely because the Walmart greeter says "Happy Holidays," that's on your own thin-skinned self.

Huck is right!! Religious Freedom is killing America.

But in a world with Sarah Palin, comedy is not dead.

Political correctness killed comedy? I can't think of any modern comedians who give a damn about political correctness. Was Mike Huckabee a big "Amos 'n' Andy" fan or something?

Yeah, and political correctness has killed hundreds if not thousands of innocents in Iraq and Afghanistan; rather hypocritical, eh? Oh! but wait, God doesn't value those lives the same as much as the lives of Americans.

There is a pernicious effort in America to stoop the phrase "Happy Holidays". The people doing it wan t you to think of Christ ams. but not the fact that Christmas is a Holy- Day. They are denying the holiness of the day, and therefore the divinity of Christ. When ever someone remonstrates you for saying Happy Holy Day, and instead wants you to say Christmas, you need to tell them that they are going to hell.

*stop the phrase

Yes, Mr. Huckabee.

If only you'd been allowed to spout racial epithets in blackface - then maybe those people would still be alive.
